Compensation: $50 Per hour

Schedule: Primarily weekends, additional shifts as needed 

Location: Bountiful, UT (Work done remotely) 

Status: Part-Time

The Pharmacists are responsible for the oversight of verifications of pharmacy transactions, oversight of patient consultations, and ensuring our teams operate in a compliant manner with state regulations. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the verification of pharmacy transactions for accuracy and compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies
  • Oversee consultations with patients and prospective patients
  • Assist and occasionally lead our patient drives at our facility
  • Verify pharmacy transactions
  • Consult patients and prospective patients
  • Maintain store operational standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and employees
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Oversee the assistance of patients with their questions, problems, and complaints
  • Handle all patient-related issues in accordance with company policy
  • Monitor and ensure a high-quality patient experience for every interaction
  • Direct and oversee patient interactions and provide clinical counseling
  • Coordinate with practitioners to facilitate positive patient outcomes
  • Other job duties as requested


 Qualifications:

  • Experience within the cannabis industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of the cannabis plant and its benefits is highly preferred
  • 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience as a pharmacist
  • Certified Registered Utah State Pharmacist
  • Experience working in a heavily regulated industry is necessary
  • Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
  • Ability to remain compliant with all applicable laws as well as company SOPs and guidelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively via, email, phone calls, text, or any other methods frequently used within the company
  • Basic computer skills (i.e. email, excel)
  • Experience interacting and working with the public
  • Ability to stand or sit for 8-12 hours
 

Cannabis Knowledge:

  • WholesomeCo will provide access to medical cannabis educational tools
  • Develop a deep understanding of cannabis forms, dosing, drug interactions, side effects, and
  • Understand the efficacy of variance strains, potencies, and methods of delivery
