As a data scientist, you're excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you're fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. In an increasingly connected world, massive amounts of structured and unstructured data open new opportunities. Your deep analytics expertise, coupled with an original approach to your work, will guide clients and stakeholders as they make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We're looking for someone like you to support complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience for Department of War clients.
As a Data Scientist at Booz Allen, you'll use your analytical skills and data science knowledge to create real-world impact. You'll share your skills in data engineering and data science modeling to shape the future of analytics through developing solutions to drive the mission forward.
At Booz Allen, you'll work with a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, data consumers, and mission experts in a fast-paced, agile environment. You'll sharpen your skills in analytical exploration and data examination while you support the assessment, design, development, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients. You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience with data science, machine learning, data engineering, or data analytics
  • 1+ years of experience using Palantir Foundry for application development
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Data Connections and Code Repos or Pipeline Builder for data ingestion and transformation
  • Experience with Foundry application and workflow development in Workshop and Ontology Manager
  • Experience working with Agile software teams, conducting code reviews, and implementing DevSecOps practices
  • Experience with Git repositories, CI/CD workflows, or infrastructure automation
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, define requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with mission analytics or government-focused data solutions
  • Experience with AI or ML model integration within Foundry applications
  • Experience with TypeScript

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
