This opportunity supports a team of Data Scientists, Cryptologic Computer Scientists, Cryptanalytic Computer Scientists, Cryptologic Cyber Planners, Intrusion Analysts, Protocol Analysts, Signals Analysts and Reverse Engineers, responsible for improving, protecting, and defending our Nation's Security. Job Description: * The DA2s serve as behavioral scientists for AI systems, defining what constitutes "normal\" behavior before identifying anomalies. In Phase 1, they conduct controlled experiments across various AI models, including commercial services and open-source models deployed locally, to observe resource utilization, API interaction patterns, and output features. They analyze telemetry data from these systems to establish statistical baselines and create anomaly detection algorithms that can differentiate between typical operational variations and security issues. A key aspect of their work involves distinguishing between conversational AI that functions in discrete sessions and autonomous AI agents that maintain persistent states and can alter their workflows.The Level 2 Data Analyst shall possess the following capabilities: * Python data analysis (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy).
* Statistical analysis and anomaly detection.
* Data visualization skills.
* Understanding of APIs and how systems communicate.
* Ability to document and explain results to senior leadership. * Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).

* Security clearance or clearance eligible.
