Sr. Data Analyst
Location: Bethesda, MD (ICCB โ€“ 100% On-Site)
Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly required
Employment Type: Long-term contract Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer / Data Analyst to support enterprise-level data initiatives within a highly classified environment. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and visualization, working across large-scale federated data systems to deliver actionable insights.
Candidates can be considered at both Journeyman and Senior levels depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data management and database solutions
Build and manage data repositories, including database modeling and architecture design
Develop and implement ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple enterprise sources
Perform data mapping, transformation, and data mining to support analytical initiatives
Analyze enterprise data systems to identify gaps, trends, and optimization opportunities
Design and deliver data visualization dashboards, reports, and analytic products
Support data collection efforts including surveys, data calls, and enterprise-wide reporting activities
Apply statistical methods, machine learning, NLP, and pattern recognition to identify insights
Communicate findings clearly through visual, written, and verbal formats
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and data teams to support enterprise solutions Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Bachelorโ€™s degree with 7+ years of experience OR no degree with 12+ years of relevant experience
Strong experience with data analysis, data engineering, and data enrichment
Hands-on experience with data visualization and trend analysis
Proficiency with tools such as Python, R, SQL, Excel, Access, and VBA
Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms
Ability to gather requirements and provide data-driven insights across large user groups Preferred Qualifications Experience within the Intelligence Community (IC) (5+ years preferred)
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Experience developing and deploying solutions in cloud environments
Exposure to advanced analytics techniques (ML, NLP, large datasets) What Makes a Strong Candidate Strong mix of data engineering + analytics + visualization
Ability to operate independently in a classified enterprise environment
