To thrive as a Part Time Cybersecurity Specialist, you need a solid understanding of network security, risk assessment, and incident response, often backed by a degree in computer science or related field. Familiarity with security tools like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are highly valued. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills help you identify threats and collaborate effectively.
