What are part-time country club jobs?

Part-time country club jobs are positions within a country club that require fewer hours than full-time roles, often offering flexible scheduling. These jobs can include roles such as servers, bartenders, golf course attendants, lifeguards, receptionists, and maintenance staff. They are ideal for students, retirees, or anyone seeking supplementary income and are generally available during peak club hours, weekends, and special events. Employees in these roles typically interact with club members and help maintain a high level of service and facility upkeep.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

A part-time country club job typically does not pay $2000 weekly; earning that amount from home usually requires high-paying roles such as freelance consulting, online coaching, or specialized remote work in fields like tech or finance. These roles often demand relevant skills, experience, and sometimes certifications, and may involve flexible schedules or project-based work.

What are some typical responsibilities and collaboration opportunities for a part-time employee at a country club?

Part-time employees at a country club often assist with a variety of tasks, such as greeting members, serving food and beverages, maintaining club facilities, and supporting event operations. You'll work closely with other team members, including kitchen staff, groundskeepers, and event coordinators, to ensure members have a positive experience. This collaborative and dynamic environment offers a chance to develop strong customer service and teamwork skills. Flexibility and willingness to take on diverse tasks are highly valued and can lead to additional responsibilities or advancement within the club.

What job should I do if I love the outdoors?

A part-time job at a country club that involves outdoor work, such as groundskeeping, landscaping, or golf course maintenance, allows you to enjoy the outdoors while earning income. These roles typically require physical activity, knowledge of outdoor tools, and sometimes certifications like pesticide application or equipment operation.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part-Time Country Club Employee, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part-Time Country Club Employee, you typically need strong customer service skills, reliability, and a basic understanding of the club’s operations, with previous hospitality or service experience often preferred. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, reservation software, and sometimes food handling certifications are common requirements. Excellent communication, teamwork, and a friendly demeanor help create a welcoming environment for members and guests. These skills ensure smooth daily operations, high member satisfaction, and a positive reputation for the club.

What jobs can you get at a golf club?

At a golf club, common jobs include golf course maintenance staff, golf instructors, caddies, food and beverage servers, clubhouse attendants, and pro shop associates. These roles often require customer service skills, knowledge of golf, and sometimes certifications such as food safety or golf instruction licenses. Many positions are seasonal or part-time, suitable for flexible schedules.

What is the most paying part-time job?

In the context of part-time jobs at country clubs, positions such as golf instructors, event coordinators, or food and beverage managers tend to offer higher pay. These roles often require specialized skills, certifications, or experience and may include tips or bonuses, increasing overall earnings.

Job description

We believe Newport Beach Country Club is a very special place – for our Members, and made better by our Team Members (employees).  We want to work with fun, passionate, hospitality driven people who genuinely care about others.

At Newport Beach Country Club our culture (made up of our purpose, vision and 3 M’s) is our operating philosophy.

Our purpose is to enhance relationships and enrich lives through shared personal experiences and connections.

Our vision is to be the standard for the next generation of Club, where relationships elevate experiences and where tradition meets the future.

Our 3 M’s are Members First, Model Operations and Make Improvements.

  • Members First - The members are our top priority and we anticipate their needs because we make every effort to build a rapport with our members to get to know them.
  • Make Improvements - We take initiative to make things better. Status quo hold us back- we are empowered to refine.
  • Model Operations - We present and maintain the club facilities in “like new” condition. We always look our best and provide exemplary service.

Are you aligned with our Club culture?

Are you someone who genuinely cares about people and enjoys building relationships with them? Do you find yourself looking for ways to make things better? Are you frequently trying to make other people smile? Do you want to work at a place where culture matters? Do you want to be the best?

If you are ready to be the STANDARD, please continue reading.

We are seeking a "HANDS-ON" Facilities Maintenance Technician who will take pride in maintaining the club facilities in 'like new' condition.  We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join our Facilities Team on a part-time basis.

This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional, tradesperson, or handyman looking for a consistent weekend schedule while helping maintain a beautiful, safe, and well-kept facility. As a closing technician, you will play an important role in ensuring the clubhouse and grounds remain fully operational, secure, and ready for the next day's activities.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify potential safety hazards and correct or report them as needed
  • Ensure facilities are properly secured and prepared for closing operations
  • Lock and secure designated areas of the clubhouse and facilities at the end of the evening
  • Confirm that team members, vendors, and guests have exited the building before final lock-up
  • Remain on-site as needed to support evening operations and ensure the facility is fully secured before departure
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition

Qualifications

  • Previous facilities maintenance, building maintenance, handyman, or trade experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate professionally with team members, vendors, and members
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and supplies
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and remain active throughout the shift
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Schedule

  • Part-Time Position
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday closing shifts
  • Shift end times may vary based on club activities and operational needs
  • Candidates must be available to remain on-site beyond their scheduled shift when necessary to ensure all facilities are properly secured and occupants have exited the building

Why Join Our Team?

  • Consistent weekend schedule
  • Professional and supportive work environment
  • Hands-on, varied work with no two days alike
  • Employee meals while working
  • Opportunity to contribute to a high-quality hospitality environment

If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and taking pride in maintaining exceptional facilities, we encourage you to apply.
