As of Aug 16, 2026, the average hourly pay for part time concierge in Alabama is $16.42, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $13.51 and $17.45 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are typical daily responsibilities for a part time concierge, and how do they differ from full-time roles?

As a part-time concierge, your daily responsibilities typically include greeting guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, assisting with reservations or recommendations, and managing guest inquiries. While core duties are similar to full-time roles, part-time concierges often work shorter shifts and may focus on peak hours, such as mornings or evenings. This means you might collaborate closely with the front desk team during busy periods and must be adept at multitasking and prioritizing guest needs in a condensed timeframe.

Is a part time concierge an entry level job?

A part time concierge is often considered an entry-level position, especially in hospitality or property management, as it typically requires basic customer service skills and minimal prior experience. However, some roles may prefer candidates with previous experience or relevant certifications, and advancement can require additional skills or training.

How do I get hired as a part time concierge?

To get hired as a part-time concierge, candidates should have strong customer service skills, relevant experience in hospitality or service industries, and good communication abilities. Many employers require a high school diploma or equivalent, and some may prefer familiarity with reservation systems or local knowledge. Applying through online job boards and demonstrating professionalism during interviews can improve chances of hiring.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time concierge?

To thrive as a Part Time Concierge, you need strong customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with local amenities, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with property management systems, reservation software, and communication tools is also valuable. These skills are crucial for ensuring guest satisfaction, efficiently managing requests, and maintaining a positive environment in residential or hospitality settings.
