Position Summary

Under the direction of the Guest Service Manager, the production Runnerย provides a variety of operational support for the theatre. This position is required to work on event days, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00

About the Venue

The Saenger Theater seats 1,900 patrons and hosts over 70,000 guests annually. It is the home of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra and has hosted national acts such as The Avett Brothers, Willie Nelson, Chicago, The Black Jacket Symphony, Vince Gill, Bob Dylan, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Several responsibilities, including transportation of crew to and from airports and shuttles to hotels before, during, or after shows.
  • Purchasing various products/materials that the tour may require at local stores (Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, etc.)
  • Facilitating crew meal orders after shows with local restaurants.
  • Coordinating laundry pickups with the tour.
  • Various on-site duties at the venue.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Familiar with local area, stores, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects.
  • Must be able to work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
