Optometrist - Full-Time / Part-Time

Job Location: Harvest, AL
Job Type: Onsite Full time/Part time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and eye health

  • Diagnose and manage conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive errors

  • Prescribe glasses/contact lenses based on patient needs

  • Educate patients on eye care, treatment plans, and preventive practices

  • Maintain accurate documentation using EMR/EHR systems

  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists for advanced or complex cases

  • Stay updated with the latest optometry practices and technology

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree

  • Strong clinical knowledge in eye health and vision care

  • Experience with optical equipment and prescription handling

  • Comfortable working with patients of all age groups (including pediatrics)

  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation

  • Good communication and patient care skills
