We are growing! Fred Astaire Dance Studios - East Greenwich is excited to be adding to our team. We are currently hiring for a part-time Receptionist. Do you enjoy making others smile, helping those around you, staying organized, and being part of a fast-paced environment? If so, then we may have an opportunity for you.

This role is of crucial importance to our clients, team members, and studio experience. Daily, you will greet students and answer questions about their accounts and studio activities. You will also help keep information organized to best help management and team members succeed. A love of people and building rapport will be a must as you talk to possible new clients and share with them how we can improve the quality of their life through dance. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
