This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised.
The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates.
We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.
Qualified candidates will possess excellent computer skills; demonstrate evidence of a career that includes flexibility and willingness to change; open-mindedness, fairness and the ability to see multiple perspectives; a willingness to take risks, and willingness to accept responsibility for professional and personal growth.
Duties
Teach face-to-face or online network and cyber security classes in the subject matter assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Security, Computer Information Technology, Engineering, or Information Assurance. Technical certifications required: Security+. Other preferred certifications: RHCSA (Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator) and/or Linux+, Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CEH, CISSP. Communication, both oral and written, skills necessary. Extensive experience, well documented in the application packet, may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
Work experience in network or cyber security with an emphasis in Linux and other open source programs and technologies. Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college and/or experience as an industry/corporate trainer.
