Join the technology team supporting conferences, meetings, and special events at the Rizzo Center! This hands-on position provides audio visual and basic technology support for guests and staff, helping ensure events run smoothly from start to finish. Duties and responsibilities are as follows:
User Experience:
  • Provide timely and courteous on-site and on-call support
  • Assist clients and internal staff with computer, network, and AV-related issues
  • Assess customer needs and provide necessary equipment and recommendations
  • Troubleshoot equipment or system malfunctions before, during, and after event

Duties:
  • Responsible for the safety and security of meeting room AV and IT systems and hardware at facility
  • Perform periodic and scheduled tests of equipment to ensure functionality and address issues expeditiously
  • Maintain proper maintenance of all equipment
  • Periodically check and maintain AV systems (including digital signage and background music) for proper operation and report issues
  • Perform periodic and scheduled tests of meeting space and business center PC hardware, software and peripherals to ensure functionality and address issues expeditiously
  • Install and configure webcams, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals as needed
