Job description

Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty for the Division of Nursing in the College of Health, Science, and Technology. Part-time teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview.
Current opportunities include teaching the following courses:
  • Pediatric Nursing clinical
  • Psychiatric Nursing clinical

Minimum Requirements:
  • MSN required
  • Current RN license or eligibility for licensing in Illinois
  • Five years of experience in clinical nursing practice
  • Three years of experience in nursing education or equivalent hospital education experience
  • Knowledge of state and national program accreditation
  • Demonstration of progressive roles and experience in teaching and learning
  • At least one year of teaching experience in a baccalaureate level program with curriculum development and assessment preferred
  • Evidence of self-development through participation in continuing education offerings, advanced study, scholarly pursuit, and/or professional and clinical activities
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Candidates must support and be committed to the of Concordia University Chicago, a university of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS).
