Art Studio Assistant

Elly’s Arts & Crafts is Hiring!
Elly’s Arts & Crafts is looking for a friendly, creative, and responsible college student to join us as a part-time Art Studio Assistant & Barista.
This position is a great fit for a student majoring in art or design, or someone who genuinely enjoys arts, crafts, and ceramics. It offers hands-on experience in both a creative studio and customer-service environment—ideal for someone who wants to build practical experience for a future creative career.
Responsibilities
Assist with art and craft activities
Prepare and organize art materials and studio spaces
Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment
Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages
Greet and assist customers with a positive attitude
Support general studio and café operations as needed
Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in college
Art or design major preferred, but not required
A genuine interest in art, design, crafts, or ceramics is required
Friendly, bright, dependable, and comfortable working with people
Barista, customer-service, art-studio, or ceramics experience is a plus
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Schedule
We are currently looking for availability during one of the following schedules:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Flexible scheduling may be available around your college classes
Studio Benefit
Depending on the studio schedule and availability, there may also be opportunities to work on your own ceramic projects. This is a good position for a student who wants to learn, gain practical experience, and grow in a creative environment.
