Job description

The University of Pittsburgh Department of Music seeks a part-time instructor to give private trumpet lessons. Instructor must demonstrate an ability to work with students at various skill levels.
The instructor should introduce students to orchestral, chamber, band, and solo repertories covering a wide variety of genres and assist in preparation for public performances and juries.
Private lessons are credit-generating and fulfill music major/minor requirements as well as general education requirements.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in trumpet performance or equivalent professional experience; previous teaching experience.
