The Anderson School is looking for a vocal instructor to join our team.
Our ideal candidate has a degree in music with an emphasis in vocal pedagogy or performance and at least two years of teaching experience. Ideally they are also able to teach piano through level 2 or 3 of the typical piano instructional series. We will consider current music majors for this role and are happy to train you. We are looking for candidates who have a solid foundation in the instrument they teach. You must be able to teach young beginners to adult. It is critical that our teachers instill a love for music in their students in our quest to build a generation of lifelong musicians. Ideally you live in the South Bay.
All lessons are taught in person at our Los Gatos location. Punctuality and attendance are extremely important. Starting pay for a teacher with a music degree or equivalent experience is $42 per hour with a potential raise after a 90-day assessment period.
