ROLE OVERVIEW
The Studio Lead is the on-site leader for their assigned Pure Barre location, responsible for membership growth, revenue, member retention, daily operations, and community engagement. This role owns the member experience from first contact through ongoing relationships, drives in-studio sales, and ensures the studio runs smoothly and on-brand every day.
This is an ideal role for someone who is sales-driven, relationship-focused, and energized by a fast-paced fitness environment. No direct people-management responsibilities, but the Studio Lead leads by example and is held accountable for studio performance goals.
ROLE DETAILS
Location: Pure Barre Kirkland
Department: Operations / Sales & Marketing
Job Type: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Hours: 25-35 hours per week
Pay: $22.00/hour + eligible for monthly bonus
Schedule: Availability required during peak hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and events
Reports To: Operations Manager and VP of Sales & Marketing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Studio Performance
  • Own studio-level membership, revenue, retention, and lead generation goals
  • Execute sales activities, including lead follow-up, appointments, referrals, reactivations, and community outreach
    Monitor key performance metrics and develop action plans to improve results
    Support retail sales and member engagement initiatives

Member Experience
  • Deliver an exceptional member experience at every stage of the client journey
  • Build strong relationships with members and prospective clients
  • Address member concerns professionally and proactively
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and service-focused studio environment

Lead Management & Conversion
  • Manage leads daily - call, text, email, and nurture until booking or conversion
  • Book first-timers into Engage intros and track attendance and next steps
  • Conduct onsite tours and sales conversations confidently
  • Follow up on missed Engage appointments and missed sales opportunities
  • Execute win-back outreach and retention follow-ups as requested

Operations
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure daily studio operations run consistently
  • Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, inventory, and overall presentation
  • Execute company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices
  • Support opening/closing procedures when scheduled
  • Identify operational challenges and partner with leadership to resolve them

Community & Marketing
  • Assist the VP of Sales & Marketing in executing local marketing initiatives and community partnerships
  • Represent the studio at local events and outreach opportunities
  • Support studio events, promotions, and member engagement activities

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in sales, hospitality, retail, fitness, customer service, or operations preferred
  • Sales-driven mindset - comfortable and confident asking for the sale
  • Strong communication skills - in person, on the phone, and in writing
  • Organized and reliable with consistent follow-through on tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and drive results
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for fitness, wellness, and creating exceptional member experiences
  • Familiarity with CRM or membership management systems a plus (ClubReady training provided)
  • Authorization to work in the United States required

PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS
  • Ability to move throughout the studio during shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 20-25 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods in an active studio environment
