As of Sep 7, 2026, the average yearly pay for part time c2c recruitment in the United States is $82,179.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $44,500.00 and $122,500.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What is part time C2C recruitment?

Part Time C2C Recruitment refers to the process of recruiting candidates for job positions on a Corp-to-Corp (C2C) basis, but with a part-time work arrangement. In this model, recruiters typically help companies find contract workers who operate as independent businesses or through consulting firms, rather than hiring full-time employees. The part-time aspect means the roles are not full 40-hour workweeks, offering more flexibility for both the contractor and the employer. This approach is common in industries like IT, where specialized skills are needed for project-based or short-term assignments.

How does working part time in C2C recruitment differ from a full-time recruitment role in terms of daily responsibilities and team collaboration?

In a part-time C2C (Corp-to-Corp) recruitment role, you'll typically focus on high-priority sourcing, screening, and coordinating with vendors and candidates within a condensed schedule. While you may handle a similar range of responsibilities as a full-time recruiter, your workload will be more targeted, often emphasizing urgent or specialized roles. Collaboration with the recruitment team and hiring managers is often structured around flexible hours and virtual meetings, requiring clear communication and efficient task management. This setup can be ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance, but it also demands strong self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time C2C recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time C2C Recruiter, you need strong sourcing, screening, and negotiation skills, typically backed by experience in technical or IT recruitment and an understanding of Corp-to-Corp staffing models. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards like Dice or Indeed, and proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter are essential. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time management skills help you stand out by building trust with both clients and consultants. These skills ensure efficient placements, compliance with C2C requirements, and lasting partnerships in a competitive staffing environment.
