About the Manhattan Order Management Consultant Position
We are seeking a Manhattan Associates Order Management (OMS) Consultant to help design, configure, and implement complex supply chain solutions for leading retailers and e-commerce organizations. This role involves analyzing business requirements, creating functional and technical documentation, configuring OMS to meet customer needs, executing testing, and supporting go-lives.
The ideal candidate has experience with Manhattan Active® OMS or legacy OMS versions, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in team settings. An interest in learning and expanding Manhattan expertise across the Active platform is highly valued.
Location
Remote; candidates may reside anywhere in the contiguous United States. Occasional travel to client sites is required (historically 30-40%, though travel may vary from 0-100%). International travel opportunities may also arise.
Essential Functions
  • Analyze client business processes and requirements to design Manhattan OMS solutions
  • Author functional and technical documentation, including design and modification specifications
  • Configure Manhattan OMS to meet client objectives
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality and performance
  • Deliver effective end-user training and provide hypercare support during deployment
  • Manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Ensure high-quality outcomes across all project phases
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience implementing or supporting order management solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience with Manhattan Active® OMS or other Manhattan Associates supply chain solutions
  • Knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms, relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server), and application development
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL for reporting or configuration purposes
