Job Overview
The Catering Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue and ensuring the successful execution of catering events for the company. This position involves overseeing the entire catering sales process, from initial client contact to post-event follow-up. The Catering Sales Manager collaborates closely with the culinary team, event coordinators, and other departments to ensure exceptional customer experiences and successful events. This role requires a combination of sales acumen, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of the catering industry.
What you'll be doing
  1. Sales and Business Development:
  • Proactively identify and target potential clients for catering services.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of catering leads.
  • Conduct sales presentations and negotiations with potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed catering proposals, contracts, and pricing.
  • Work to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Understand clients' needs and preferences, offering tailored catering solutions.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
