This position is starting part time (20-24 hours) with the potential to increase to full time.

General Summary:

In collaboration with the Clinical Director and CEO, the Business Development Specialist presents a positive and professional public image of the clinic within the community. They are responsible for implementing the clinic's strategic plan, enhancing the clinic's brand/image and effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts. The Business Development Specialist must have a passion for supporting growth within the mental health community, be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, resourcefulness and patience.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Develops and implements business development programs in consultation with the Clinical Director and CEO.

Maintains a schedule of primary sources of mental health referral contacts. Documents these contacts within our database.

Maintains current account information and business development referral/admission records and statistics, including the preparation of business development reports and materials.

Develops and maintains new account relationships and markets with referral sources. Targets and creates new strategies for increasing business in highly competitive markets.

Represents the facility at professional functions and communicates mission in all outreach interactions. Acts as a liaison between the clinic, referral sources and the general public to further the goals and positive, professional image of the clinic.

Manages leads from referral sources and ensures an efficient admissions process for clients.

Maintains collaborative working relationship with intake and management team.

Maintains current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education

and professional and community involvement.

Attends management meetings to provide timely reports and to maintain working knowledge of the intake processes.

Business Development Specialist Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum three years' experience in healthcare business development/marketing environment, preferably in the addiction and/or mental health treatment field.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Great communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient computer literacy.

Salary Range 30,000 to 50,000
