The South Amboy School District has the following anticipated opening for the 2026-2027 school year. Rate of pay will be commensurate with experience:
PART TIME BUS DRIVER
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess CDL with (P) endorsement and (S) endorsement
  • The bus driver must safely transport students and perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections.
  • The driver also must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, and undergo a background check/fingerprinting.
  • Physical exam required

Rate: Starting at $20/ per hour
Applications must be submitted at Applitrack. The selection process will continue until a candidate is appointed. Appointment is at the discretion of the South Amboy Board of Education. If, and when, an appointment is made, appropriate staff will be notified.
