Job description

SUMMARY

The Department of Exercise Science and Health & Human Performance seeks Adjunct Professors to teach courses to undergraduate-level students in the areas of kinesiology, physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, hands-on labs, and/or foundations of health and human performances. Faculty prepare students for healthcare careers in fields such as PT, OT, Athletic Training.The position requires a strong commitment to the Christian faith, as well as excellence in teaching, scholarly research, and service.

Palm Beach Atlantic University is a comprehensive Christian university whose mission is to equip students to grow in wisdom, lead with conviction, and serve God boldly, emphasizing moral, spiritual, and intellectual development.

STATUS:

Applications reviewed on a rolling basis until positions are filled.

EDUCATION:

Ph.D./Ed.D. in Exercise Science/Physiology or closely related field. ACSM or NSCA certification, preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated expertise in the discipline.
  • Prior collegiate-level teaching experience, preferred.
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community.
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and the ability to integrate faith into coursework.
