Job Description
  • Part-time position (15-20 hours per pay cycle) Monday - Thursday in office hours.

  • Responsible for parish financial recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Works within parish and AOD financial policies and procedures.
  • High sensitivity to confidentiality

Skills & Qualifications
  • Self-motivated to work to work as a team and independently.

  • Initiative to ask questions, investigate, problem solve and suggest solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Communicate professionally verbally and via email and Teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Associates degree or higher plus 3 or more years' experience in accounting field.
  • Must have experience with accounting software and ability to learn and move forward with automation of manual systems.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Supports budget management and financial accountability.

  • Maintain financial records which includes some portion of Accounts payables and receivables, general ledger account reconciliations, journal entries, year end tax statements and 1099's.
  • Prepare month end financial reports according to deadlines
  • Assist with budget tracking and reporting.
  • Support audits and financial reviews as needed.
  • Coordinate software systems for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and general ledger.
