Job description

Home Health RN – UP Health System Home Care & Hospice

UP Health System Home Care & Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an urgent 13-week travel assignment in Marquette, Michigan. This opportunity offers a consistent day-shift schedule, competitive compensation, and mileage reimbursement. Candidates with Home Health or Rehab experience who are available to start ASAP are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: UP Health System Home Care & Hospice, 722 West Washington Street, Marquette, MI 49855, United States

Schedule: 5 × 8-hour day shifts

Hours: 40 hours/week

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: Urgent – ASAP

Pay Rate: $78.00/hour

On-Call: 7 days on / 7 days off

Mileage Reimbursement: $0.49/mile

Responsibilities

The RN will provide nursing care in a Home Health/Rehab setting, supporting patients in their homes and helping deliver safe, high-quality care throughout the assignment.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Providing skilled nursing care to home health and rehab patients
  • Assessing patient needs and monitoring progress
  • Developing and implementing appropriate nursing care plans
  • Coordinating care with other members of the healthcare team
  • Maintaining accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Following established clinical and safety protocols
  • Participating in the assigned on-call rotation
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification required
  • Home Health and/or Rehab nursing experience
  • Ability to work scheduled 8-hour day shifts
  • Availability for the 13-week assignment
  • Ability to begin ASAP
  • Willingness to participate in the 7-on/7-off on-call rotation
