What is a part time auto body job?

Part time auto body jobs involve repairing, restoring, and refinishing vehicle bodies and frames on a part-time schedule, typically less than 40 hours per week. Workers in these roles may fix dents, replace damaged parts, and repaint cars to restore them after accidents or wear. Part-time positions are ideal for students, those seeking supplemental income, or individuals needing flexible hours. Employers may require some experience or vocational training, depending on the complexity of the work. Duties can range from assisting with basic repairs to performing skilled bodywork, depending on the shop's needs.

To thrive as a Part Time Auto Body Technician, you need hands-on experience with vehicle repair, basic knowledge of automotive systems, and typically a high school diploma or equivalent.
