Job description

Description

This position will be working 24 hours a week at our Cully Assisted Living facility. Must be available to work on Sunday morning and Monday (third day flexible).

Under the direction of the Resident Care Supervisor or Operations Supervisor and with clinical supervision, the Lead Personal Care Aide is expected to serve in a leadership role with other Aides to complete all required documentation, assure that all care and medications are administered appropriately, to solve problems, and to communicate with the staff of the next shift. Performs basic and routine quality care to the residents including assisting them in the activities of daily living and other personal care tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 months Medication administration experience. 1 year preferred.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training Completion of approved medication administration training.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
