About the role
The Asset Protection Specialist has thorough knowledge of KnitWell Group's security and life safety procedures. Performs duties as a floor officer and acts as a deterrent to theft.Responds to and proactively addresses life safety, security, and operational issues. Flexibility to work overtime as required.

The impact you can have

  • Checks employee ID badges to control facilityaccess and logs visitors/contractors.
  • Monitors facilities CCTV, fire/burglar, and access control systems
  • Answers and transfers internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures.
  • Conducts dailyand monthly audits and facility inspections (i.e. compliance audits, safety/security checklists, etc.)
  • Responsible for initiating internal/external investigations based off daily inspections findings and/or information received from other sources
  • Secures facility during non-operational hours
  • Provides after-hour security service/surveillance (walk and/or monitor associates to their automobile, etc.) to associates in times of need
  • Responsible for overseeing incident/injury reporting and applies first aid in times of need
  • Tracking and monitoring all damaged, pilfered carton reports
  • Responsible for initiating and controlling Emergency Response
  • Performs other administrative duties as needed by AP Management

You'll bring to the role

  • Minimum of six months experience in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention or security preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be flexible to work any hours required
  • Self-motivated; must be able to work with little or no supervision
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred. (Certification will be required during employment and provided by KnitWell Group)
  • Possess some computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Successful completion of a background check required prior to hire
