Agile Planner and Scrum Master
The Opportunity:
As a Scrum Master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced Scrum Master like you to create solutions that will advance our development teams and the critical missions they support.
On our team, you'll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the Scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll ensure Scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish sprint planning, backlog management, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
In this role, you'll directly impact defense missions by using Agile processes and tools to organize and execute the Agile process for a software development or engineering team. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in Agile Scrum processes, IT project management, and software development while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve national security missions.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience serving as an Agile planner and Scrum Master on a software development or engineering team
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile tools
  • Knowledge of software development and development lifecycles
  • Ability to independently stand up and manage an Agile process for a development team, executing sprint planning, backlog management, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives using Agile tools
  • Ability to work closely with multiple groups of stakeholders to communicate complex technical concepts in non-technical terms, communicate challenges and risks, and make progress
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Agile Scrum Master or SAFe Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
