Position Details:

  • O'Fallon, MO location
  • Part time, salaried 
  • Three 8 hour shifts per Week
  • Shifts are Afternoon & Evening Hours
  • Weekend & Holiday Rotation as Required by Department
  • Part Time Benefit Eligible

Additional Preferred Requirements

  • 5 years of pediatric RN or NP experience

Role Purpose

Utilizes a high degree of knowledge, skill and competence in a specialized area of nursing to diagnose, proscribe, and treat pediatric and neonatal patients within the scope of a formal collaborative practice agreement with physician(s) to support a designated clinical service.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in professional development
  • Develops treatment plans, treats patients with acute problems including illnesses and minor injuries following a predetermined protocol in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician.
  • Coordinates the care of select patient populations to ensure promotion of health and wellness through education of patients and families, coordination of services and placing referrals.
  • Assumes a leadership role within a specific clinical specialty.
  • Manages the health care of select patient populations through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician.
