Position Summary

This temporary Administrative Assistant position supports organizational records management and general office operations. The role is responsible for the scanning, organization, and maintenance of physical and electronic documents, as well as providing administrative support across a variety of office functions. The assignment is anticipated to last up to six months and may be filled on either a part-time or full-time basis, with full-time availability preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage routine administrative tasks in a professional environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scan, organize,maintain, and archive physical and electronic documents.
  • Prepare records for retention or disposal, including shredding documents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure records are easily accessible and properly organized.
  • Provide general administrative support, including preparing correspondence, managing schedules, and coordinating office activities.
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support efficient office operations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office software.
  • Ability to manage and organize both physical and electronic records.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work through problems quickly and effectively and define a clear path to resolution
