Southern Health Partners (SHP) is looking for a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our correctional healthcare team at the Jefferson County Jail in Georgia. This is a great opportunity for an LPN looking for a consistent part time weekend schedule while making a meaningful impact through quality patient care.
In this role, you'll provide nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting, administer medications and treatments, complete assessments, document care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support the overall health and well-being of those in our care.
What You'll Do
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
  • Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare needs
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Communicate with providers and other members of the healthcare team
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and correctional healthcare protocols
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards

What You'll Need
  • Current LPN license in the state of Georgia
  • Current CPR certification
  • Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
