What types of tasks and projects can I expect to work on during a part-time accounting internship?

As a part-time accounting intern, you will typically assist with a variety of tasks such as data entry, reconciling accounts, preparing invoices, and supporting the month-end closing process. Interns often collaborate closely with accountants and finance team members, providing a valuable opportunity to observe and participate in real-world financial operations. This hands-on experience helps build foundational skills and can lead to more advanced responsibilities as you demonstrate proficiency.
