Description
The Accounting Intern will support the Finance/Accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable and administrative accounting functions while gaining hands-on experience in a corporate environment. This internship is designed to provide exposure to accounting systems, financial processes, vendor management, and cross functional business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with invoice processing in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Help organize and reconcile accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with payment processing and tracking.
• Support electronic document management.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• In the process of obtaining a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• Novice understanding of full-cycle accounting and project forecasting and budgeting.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, the ability to work with employees throughout the organization.
• Willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
