What is a parks supervisor?

Parks Supervisors are professionals responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operations of public parks and recreational areas. They manage staff, coordinate landscaping and facility maintenance, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and handle budgeting or scheduling tasks. Parks Supervisors may also work with the community to plan events and improvements, and they often serve as liaisons between local government agencies and the public. Their role is essential in creating safe, clean, and enjoyable outdoor spaces for everyone.
