Regional Sales Manager Sports & Education Markets

Lead the team - win in the field - drive regional growth

We're seeking a hands-on Regional Sales Manager to lead an established outside sales team across Texas. For an established and growing company. This is a player/coach leadership role where you'll spend time in the field coaching sales professionals, developing key customer relationships, and helping close large, complex projects.

If you've successfully led outside sales teams selling capital projects or construction-related solutionsand understand the purchasing process for schools, universities, athletic facilities, municipalities, or sports venueswe'd like to talk.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead, coach, and develop a Texas-based outside sales team of 5.
  • Travel throughout Texas working alongside sales representatives on customer visits and strategic opportunities.
  • Participate in presentations, negotiations, and closing high-value projects.
  • Develop territory strategies and support key account growth.
  • Partner with Inside Sales and Operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Drive continued growth across education, municipal, parks & recreation, and sports facility markets.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven success leading and developing outside sales teams.
  • Experience selling capital equipment, construction-related products, or project-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of the K-12 education, higher education, municipal, parks & recreation, or sports venue markets is highly preferred.
  • Strong coaching, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with regular travel throughout Texas.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Location: Texas (major metro area preferred, first choice Houston)

Compensation: $100,000-$170,000 base salary plus performance incentives & bonus
