Paralegals often juggle several cases at once, which can make prioritization and organization challenging. Balancing tight deadlines, varying attorney requests, and large volumes of documentation requires strong time-management skills and attention to detail. Many paralegals find it helpful to use case management software and maintain clear communication with attorneys and clients to stay on track. Developing strategies for effective multitasking and document organization is key to succeeding in this fast-paced environment.

What are paralegals?

Although paralegals are highly knowledgeable in legal procedures, they are not licensed to practice law or provide legal advice directly to clients. Their work allows lawyers to focus on more complex legal matters while ensuring that routine legal work is handled efficiently.
