Pay Grade: $18.96 - 24.50/hr (+$1.00/hr Night Shift Differential)

What You’ll Do

As our Cutter / Light Equipment Operator 2, you will:

  • Maintain flow of paper in a safe and efficient manner while operating box trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks

  • Maintain a neat and organized work environment 

  • Perform checks on machine and truck and complete basic maintenance 

  • Regularly check paper for product quality

  • Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Responsible for driving a 10ft box truck (a few times a day) to and from converting building (half a mile away), maintaining inventory for the cutting department, assisting the cutters as needed, and ensure material is delivered to the pressroom in a timely manner while following all safety and quality control procedures.

What It Takes

  • Ability to lift up to 30-50lbs, stand for 12 hours, and push/pull up to 1100lbs with use of manual pallet jack

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions

  • May be exposed to controlled, non-toxic, chemical vapors or mists 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

  • Experience operating stand up forklifts and electric pallet jacks required

  • 1+ years’ experience driving a manually shifted 10ft box truck preferred

  • Must currently have and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
