Job description

We currently have a full-time and permanent position available for an experienced machine tool electrician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, test, tear down and package assigned components
  • Fit and assemble components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, and direction
  • Redline prints and sketches
  • Construct, wire, rebuild and repair electrical cabinets, panels, and components using hand tools, power tools and meters
  • Verify parts to stock list and blueprints
  • Use measuring instruments, such as VOMs, tapes, and rulers, levels
  • Layout location details and through holes on parts and assembly
  • Construct supports, stands, and frames
  • Assemble for sequencing of functionality to meet customer specified product performance
  • Make final adjustments during performance testing to meet specifications
  • Tear down and package of equipment for safe shipping
  • Perform ring outs and IO conformation
  • Follow all safety guidelines of the company
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Skills/Experience
Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years of panel wiring experience
  • Demonstrable electrical aptitude
  • Proven ability to drill and tap
  • History of meeting project timelines
  • Ability to successfully troubleshoot
  • Demonstrate proper wiring assemblies
  • Demonstrate proper panel layouts
  • Ability to read prints, diagrams, general assembly, and line drawings
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a record that allows you to be covered by company insurance
  • Ability to self-motivate or work as a team
  • Must own basic tools
Preferred:
  • Experience working at customer sites
  • Forklift experience
  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
