Job Title: Panel Builder

Job Description

As a Panel Builder, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring control panels, ensuring compliance with electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, and IEC. You will work independently, wiring panel devices according to electrical schematics and maintaining a neat and safe workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, and IEC.
  • Work efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics.
  • Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.
  • Check work to ensure error-free products.
  • Keep red-lines of any changes required during manufacturing and submit them to the supervisor upon project completion.
  • Maintain a neat, efficient, and safe workplace.
  • Provide all necessary tools to perform job functions.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to follow and understand assembly instructions, including drawings, prints, and electrical schematics.
  • Capability to layout and mount components.
  • Proficiency in wiring assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists.
  • Occasionally assist in employee development and continuous improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
