Job Description

The panel builder will be responsible for installing machine controls on our custom automation equipment. Tasks include performing electrical panel wiring, field wiring, troubleshooting and machine integration of industrial automated equipment.ย 

we are hiring for both part-time and full-time roles.


Responsibilities:

  • Panel Construction;ย Build and wire panels from scratch reading electrical schematics.
  • Field wiring to either the panel I/O or field mount I/O devices.
  • Pneumatic plumbing, must be able to read and understand Pneumatic schematics.
  • Mounting electrical controls components to the machine, and fabricating mounting brackets as required.
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical schematic.
  • Troubleshoot and debug (i.e. diagnoses trouble or defects, determines corrective action and repairs system).
  • Ensure that all equipment is in proper working condition after troubleshooting.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on automation system and components.
  • Provide status updates to management on assigned projects.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or technical school course work.
  • 2+ years of experience wiring automated equipment.
  • Ability to use variety of hand/power tools and test equipment related to panel builder duties.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to read/understand electrical schematics.
