Job description

Power-Flo Technologies is currently seeking a Panel Technician to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM

New Hyde Park, NY (11040)

Panel Technician Responsibilities :

  • Reading and following electrical schematics
  • Laying out panel backplates
  • Wiring panels in the shop based off a schematic
  • Assembly of various electrical components
  • Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
  • Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
  • Troubleshoot motor and control systems
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes
  • Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
  • Build Panels UL 508
  • Panel assembly and box build assembly


Panel Technician Qualifications :

  • Experience with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to construct electrical panels
  • Must be familiar with wiring diagram symbols, wire sizing, and panel construction
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools and other power tools
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to work alongside engineers
  • Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
  • Valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles
