Summary: Set up, adjust, and operate CNC sawing machine to cut metal stock
Essential Function:
  • Set up, edit and operate saw to cut material to specified requirements
  • Read and understand work orders, cutting lists, blueprints, and other documents
  • Recognize and use correct blade type
  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, hoist or crane to move materials
  • Monitor machine for cutting performance and utilization
  • Perform quality inspection using appropriate measuring devices
  • Adhere to business management system (BMS), as applicable
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned

Requirements
Basic Requirements:
General manufacturing experience and knowledge of different materials
Able to change/adjust blades and stops per material and drawing requirements
Intermediate computer, written/verbal communication skills, and math skills including fraction conversions
Intermediate knowledge of caliper, tape measure and other manual measuring processes
Understand prints, process sheets, and other documents
Physical Exposure:
Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs
Oils/solvents on materials
Sharp edges on parts or materials
Fork truck traffic
