Painters working on large commercial projects often encounter challenges such as meeting tight deadlines, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining consistency in color and finish across vast surfaces. Adapting to changing site conditions, working at heights, and adhering to strict safety regulations are also common. Experienced commercial and industrial painters tend to earn higher wages than residential painters due to the complexity and scale of projects. Specializing in high-demand skills such as decorative finishes, spray painting, or working with hazardous materials can also increase earning potential. Certifications and a strong reputation can further boost income for professional painters.
