Job Summary:
Collister Construction is seeking a skilled, self-motivated, and detail-oriented interior painter to join our growing team. We are looking to hire in the Buffalo area. Responsibilities:

  • Clean, sand, and scrape surfaces to prepare them for painting.
  • Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers using caulking guns or putty knives.
  • Remove old paint using paint removers, scrapers, wire brushes, or blowtorches.
  • Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired hues.
  • Apply paint, varnishes, stains and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Ensure even coverage and smooth finishes without drips, streaks, or missed spots.
  • Inspect painted surfaces for completeness and touch up any areas that require additional attention.
  • Ensure that all work meets high-quality standards and client specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Must be very dependable and reliable on a day to day basis for your shift.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a interior painter or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with interior
