Job description

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Administrative Support professional to provide Advisory and Assistance Services supporting configuration management of the Shared Early Warning System (SEWS/SZQS). The SEWS Program Office supports partner nations, by providing capabilities for timely and accurate Theater and Strategic space-based Ballistic Missile Early Warning Information. The SEWS Program enhances the United States’ strategic and regional stability objectives. Combatant Commands and Foreign Military Sales Customer Nations receive real-time situational awareness of missile launch information, projected impact information, and general missile-type.

This is a full-time position at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO with the opportunity to telework 2 days per week at the discretion of the Government.


Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Providing staff support for the senior managers and members of the organizational staff
  • Researching and compiling information pertaining to certain projects/topics, reviews CDRL packages, prepares factual, clear, concise, complete and appropriately coordinated written communications
  • Ensures the leadership is kept informed of all issues of interest that relate to the mission of the SSC/SYD 85
  • Monitors progress toward accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives
  • Provides support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program events
  • Drafts documents for the approval and signature of leadership
  • Disseminates program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organization
  • Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings in support of SEWS leadership and staff
  • Prepares background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy
  • Maintains scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set up and execution

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Active Secret clearance

Education: High school diploma 

Years of Experience: 7 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD OR,

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of DoD experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed

Additional experience: 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools to include Teams, Chrome and Edge, Adobe PDF

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience: 

  • Working knowledge of Defense Travel System
  • Confluence and Jira
  • Knowledgeable of Foreign Military Sales
  • Knowledgeable of C2 Systems
  • Knowledge of Missile Warning operations
  • Knowledgeable in Global Command and Control Systems
  • Previous active-duty military experience

Location: The position is performed at Peterson SFB, located in Colorado Springs, CO (Building address: 130 West Paine St, Peterson SFB, CO 80914).

Travel: Travel might be required up to 25%

Hybrid: Remote flexibility four days per week – subject to change per the customer’s discretion
