Position Summary

US Cabinet Depot is seeking a Packing Associate to prepare assembled cabinets and related products for shipment. The Packing Associate is responsible for inspecting completed products, securely packaging cabinets, applying protective materials, and palletizing orders to ensure they arrive at customer locations safely and damage-free. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspect assembled cabinets and components for quality, completeness, and damage prior to packaging.
  • Package cabinets, accessories, and related products using protective materials such as foam, corner guards, cardboard, shrink wrap, and strapping.
  • Verify order quantities and product information against packing lists and shipping documentation.
  • Label products, cartons, and pallets accurately for shipment.
  • Palletize completed orders according to company standards and shipping requirements.
  • Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move products safely throughout the warehouse.
  • Ensure packaged products are secured to minimize damage during transportation.
  • Maintain an organized packing area and keep workstations clean and free of hazards.
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines.
