Job description


A Packaging Operator & Inspector is responsible for preparing high quality automotive parts for shipping, ensuring accuracy and quality in all outgoing shipments. The operator is also performing visual inspection on the parts packed. Inspection is performed as per job standards to ensure that the high quality of parts required by customers is maintained.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pack, weigh, and label completed items accurately for shipment or storage.
  • Perform visual inspection of parts according to applicable job-specific standards or quality alerts.
  • Ensure all parts meet defined quality and safety criteria before packing.
  • Follow packing procedures and standards based on customer requirements to ensure product safety and compliance.
  • Assemble packaging materials such as boxes, cartons, and other containers.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the packing area.
  • Accurately update records of packed items, quantities, and report any discrepancies or defects to supervisors.
  • Work efficiently to meet or exceed daily production and shipping targets.


Requirements:

  • Must be able to work rotating shifts (days/afternoons)

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Monday to Friday
