Project Manager – Drive Commercial Glass, Glazing, and Architectural Facility Projects

The Opportunity

The Project Manager in the Glass and Glazing Division is responsible for the successful coordination and execution of commercial glazing projects, including storefronts, curtainwall systems, entrances, interior glass, and specialty glazing from contract award through project close-out. This role serves as the primary liaison between Architectural Sales and the customer, coordinating with estimators, inside sales, fabrication, and field glaziers to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential to success in this role.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Oversee comprehensive commercial glazing projects from initial estimation through final structural asset installation.
  • Manage strict construction project budgets, material assets, and fabrication schedules to maximize profitability.
  • Analyze complex architectural drawings and engineering blueprints to engineer precise cost estimates.
  • Formulate competitive project quotes and lead face-to-face contract negotiations with general contractors.
  • Review architectural engineering specifications against final shop drawings to ensure absolute design accuracy.
  • Coordinate cross-functional timelines with building owners, field superintendents, architects, and internal fabrication teams.
  • Work with the fabrication team and field glaziers to align production and installation resources with project timelines
  • Implement strategic value engineering to optimize material selection and accelerate overall field installation efficiency.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable construction experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong professional capability to read, analyze, and interpret complex architectural blueprints.
  • Proven track record promoting, bidding, and successfully closing commercial construction contract packages.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude paired with a deep understanding of structural building sciences.
  • Solid capability to solve complex structural variables and logistically demanding field problems.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior project management experience specializing in commercial glass, storefronts, and multi-story curtainwall systems.
  • High proficiency using advanced Microsoft Office applications and construction budgeting software platforms.
  • Hands-on technical experience or functional design knowledge utilizing Auto CAD software.
  • Demonstrated background managing client relationships with regional general contractors, developers, and architects.
