Machine Operator Job Summary:
We are a fast-growing, family-owned company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our doorline team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for paying careful attention to the job, follow instructions precisely, work safely, and double-check his or her work before completing a task, all while maintaining speed and accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Setting up a machine
  • Inspect product throughout the process
  • Run wood and /or metal doors through the cutting machine
  • Lift metal and wood doors
  • Have the desire to "learn" the product
Required Skills/Abilities:Strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Proficient in using basic hand tools, including saws.
  • Proficient in using a tape measure and performing basic math calculations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to maintain focus and safety awareness in a busy, physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent attendance and dependability.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Machine Operating: 1 year (Required)
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently on a repetitive basis throughout the shift and assist with team lifts of items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods of time.
  • Required to wear steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, and other personal protective equipment (PPE) as specified.
  • Must be able to safely maneuver pallets and crates using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Must adhere to all safety protocols and always demonstrate a commitment to a safe working environment.
Compensation Target: $18.00 Per hour
